对比语言
关联词是成对使用的词：越...越、又...又、既...也。西班牙语和英语共享拉丁语系模式。中文使用成对结构如 越...越、又...又、既...也。
概述
关联结构使用成对的词来创建复杂的逻辑关系：比例关系、并列、否定、选择和穷尽性。
- 西班牙语：用 cuanto… tanto 表比例关系，tanto… como 表并列，ni… ni 表否定，o… o 表选择。
- 英语：用 the… the 表比例关系，both… and 表并列，neither… nor 表否定。否定前置后需要倒装。
- 中文：用 越…越 表比例关系，又…又 表并列，要么…要么 表选择。
西班牙语
Cuanto… tanto（越…越）
两个变量之间的比例关系：
- Cuanto más estudias, (tanto) más aprendes.（越学越好。）
- Cuanto antes vengas, mejor.（来得越早越好。）
注意：第二分句中的 tanto 常省略。
Tanto… como（既…又）
确认两个元素都适用：
- Toma tanto café como té.（他既喝咖啡又喝茶。）
- Es tanto inteligente como trabajador.（他既聪明又勤奋。）
Ni… ni（既不…也不）
两个元素都否定：
- No le gusta ni el café ni el té.（他既不喜欢咖啡也不喜欢茶。）
- Ni Juan ni María vinieron.（胡安和玛丽亚都没来。）
O… o（要么…要么）
排他性选择：
- O vienes o te vas.（要么来，要么走。）
- O estudias o suspendes.（要么学习，要么不及格。）
注意：正式西班牙语中，o 在 o-/ho- 开头的词前变为 u：
- u once / u otro
No solo… sino (también)（不但…而且）
- No solo lee, sino también escribe.（他不仅读书，还写作。）
- No solo es inteligente, sino trabajador.（他不仅聪明，而且勤奋。）
倒装：当 no solo 位于句首时，动词倒装：
- No solo es inteligente, sino también trabajador.
Ya… ya（时而…时而）
- Ya está aquí, ya está allí.（时而在此时而在那。）
- Ya llueve, ya hace sol.（时而下雨时而晴天。）
Si… o (si)（是否…还是）
- No sé si viene o no.（我不知道他来不来。）
- Si llueve o no, saldré.（无论下不下雨，我都出去。）
Bien… bien（无论…还是）
- Bien llueve, bien hace sol.（无论下雨还是晴天。）
英语
The… the（比例关系）
- The more you study, the more you learn.（越学越多。）
- The sooner, the better.（越快越好。）
- The bigger they are, the harder they fall.（越大摔得越重。）
注意：两个分句都需要 the：
- ✅ The more, the merrier.
- ❌ More, merrier.
Both… and（既…又）
- He drinks both coffee and tea.（他既喝咖啡又喝茶。）
- Both Juan and María came.（胡安和玛丽亚都来了。）
主谓一致：主语并列时用复数：
- Both Juan and María are here.
Not only… but also（不但…而且）
- He not only reads but also writes.（他不仅读书还写作。）
- Not only is he intelligent, but he is also hardworking.
倒装：当 not only 位于句首时，发生主谓倒装：
- Not only does he read, but he also writes.
Neither… nor（既不…也不）
- He likes neither coffee nor tea.（他既不喜欢咖啡也不喜欢茶。）
- Neither Juan nor María came.（胡安和玛丽亚都没来。）
主谓一致：由最近的主语决定：
- Neither the teacher nor the students were ready.
Either… or（要么…要么）
- Either you come, or you go.（要么来要么走。）
- You can have either coffee or tea.（你可以喝咖啡或茶。）
主谓一致：最近的主语：
- Either Juan or his sisters are coming.
Whether… or（无论…还是）
- I don’t know whether he’s coming or not.（我不知道他来不来。）
- Whether it rains or not, I’ll go.（无论下不下雨，我都去。）
As… as（一样…）
- He is as tall as his father.（他和他父亲一样高。）
- I have as many books as you.（我和你一样多书。）
否定：not as… as 或 not so… as：
- He is not as tall as his father.（他不如他父亲高。）
So… that / such… that（如此…以至于）
- He was so tired that he fell asleep.（他太累了以至于睡着了。）
- It was such a boring film that I left.（电影太无聊了我走了。）
Just as… so（正如…也）
- Just as the sun rises, so does hope renew.（正如太阳升起，希望也重生。）
中文
越…越（越…越）
越 + A + 越 + B（比例递增）：
- 越学越好。（越学越好。）
- 越来越好。（越来越好。）
- 雨越下越大。（雨越下越大。）
又…又（又…又）
- 又高又帅。（又高又帅。）
- 又快又好。（又快又好。）
既…又/也（既…又）
- 既聪明又努力。（既聪明又努力。）
- 既不快也不慢。（既不快也不慢。）
既不…也不（既不…也不）
- 既不喜欢咖啡，也不喜欢茶。（既不喜欢咖啡也不喜欢茶。）
要么…要么（要么…要么）
- 要么来，要么走。（要么来要么走。）
无论…还是/都（无论…还是）
- 无论下雨还是下雪，我都去。（无论下雨还是下雪，我都去。）
注意：无论 要求主句中有 都 才能表达全称/穷尽含义。
不但…而且（不但…而且）
- 他不但会说，而且会写。（他不但会说，而且会写。）
跟…一样（跟…一样）
- 跟你一样高。（跟你一样高。）
否定：不 + 跟…一样：
- 不跟他一样高。（不跟他一样高。）
虽然…但是/可是（虽然…但是）
- 虽然下雨，但是我还是去。（虽然下雨，但我还是去。）
注意：中文同时使用 虽然 和 但是（与英语 although… 或 but… 不同）。
