How subjects agree with verbs, and modifiers agree with nouns in Spanish, English and Chinese.

Compare languages

Spanish has rich agreement: verbs agree with subjects in person and number; adjectives agree in gender and number. English has minimal agreement: only third person singular -s. Chinese has no agreement at all.
