Conditional Mood

How languages express hypothetical, counterfactual, and uncertain situations in Spanish, English and Chinese.

The conditional mood expresses hypothetical or uncertain events. Spanish has a dedicated conditional verb form. English uses would/could/might + verb. Chinese uses huì/yàoshì/guǒ with aspect markers.
